The world we live in...

A place filled with wolves- Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill the body but not the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Friends and Family

Holidays are the best time to catch up with your loved ones. And for me, that's my super duper brothers and friends.

So other than catching up with my awesome buddies from the Studentlife Schoolies project, which was pretty much everyday since we got back in Auckland, I got to get back into my normal life. Well I guess the people from the two weeks at Schoolies are part of my normal life now, but still needs some getting used to.

Got to hang out with YooMee before she left for Korea, where she would then head somewhere for a missions trip. Really loved spending time with her. She's my unofficial Korean tutor and really good friend ♥

Saw Landy at church on Sunday ^^

Then had a great morning coffee with Willie in the shore on Weds, a day before helping out at church with some of us young adults from home group. Totally loved the free food from the morning tea for the older folks hehe. And the studentlife Christmas party that night was so worth going. hehe. Got a pack of mini toberones after the round of present games. muahahahahaha

Also had a flat hunting afternoon with Tessa in the city after staying the night after the xmas party at Henry's. and Arrons's ^^ Then rushed to have lunch with Su straight after the chinese lessons(ppl randomly started talking to me in Chinese twice in the single hour XD) and flats. Had a fallafel at the Middle Eastern restaurant on Wellesley street. Yummy... but expensive... and it reminded me of Ruth. Met her and her fallafel the first time I met her ♥
Then I dragged Su to our last Schoolies kiwi team hang out at momo tea (dun think I will be planning anymore anytime soon) hours before Leo flies to China. That was last night. OMG! i forgot to wish Su "Happy Birthday" today. All that "I'll text her later since morning" sure wasn't ideal >.<

Which brings us to today, where I finally got to have a proper hang out time with Henry. Went to Westfield Pakuranga then Botany... where I totally got reminded of Schoolies again... our photo scavenger hunt... to get his Christmas shopping done. hehe. and got to go to Palmers before it closed. So loved picking out plants with him ^^

And how could I forget mentioning Midnight, the awesome cat that just L♥VES attention. She's really helped me overcome the transition from hectic Aussie like back into normal life.

Well I still have many people to catch up with in the remainder of the holidays... like YuKai and Esther... just to name out a few. And Kate who I met in the Asian Youth Exchange in Okinawa
2009. So need to see her since we've wanting to since end of last year... but somehow it still hasnt happened. hmmmm Richard must be busy preparing for the upcoming business. Can't wait for my nephew Edison to see the world, preferably not on Christmas day, but who knows what God has planned ^^

And well Christmas is just around the corner, so hope all of you spend a lovely time with whoever you love most on the day!
